Be the change you wish to see in the world – Mahatma Gandhi

In a way, this quote marked the very beginning of THE QUIDDITY.
It popped up in our heads right after having the idea (or maybe even before)
and it accompanied us all through the process of bringing it to life – from the very beginning,
when we realised at least one of us would have to learn how to code, in moments of absolute joy
working on the design, through sleepless nights of figuring out the name, all the way to where we are today.
And we can’t wait to see where it will lead us next.

The change we wish to see in the world is moving away from an appearance-focused society toward one that values who people truly are. So far, we are walking past one another – on the streets, in the subway, at work – without any way of showing people the qualities that make us who we are. The only thing people see is whether someone is thin or curvy, tall or short, and what their hair, skin, and face look like.
That is why humans obsess over looks so much – they are often all that others can see unless they truly get to know us. It’s time to start showing off with something beyond looks. Start showing off with who you are, your character. Start showing off with the fact that you’re remarkably kind, strikingly magnetic or wickedly funny. Start wearing who you are.

Another change we wish to see in the world is a future in which clothing is never produced at the expense of people or the natural environment. That is why all our products are made fairly, consciously, sustainably and in a way that brings our planet and humanity forward toward a sustainable and tolerant future. We chose to work with them because they support fair working conditions, fair wages, human rights, and produce their clothing in India using only organic cotton. One more change we wish to see in the world is making sure we help people and the planet, wherever we can. That is why, from the very beginning, ten percent of our profits will be donated to organizations that protect the natural environment and support humanitarian causes.
